A fresh themed wordsearch is published at midnight every day. Each daily puzzle draws from one of more than 20 hand-picked themes - covering topics as varied as Birds, Space, Gems, Musical Instruments, and more - so there is always something different to discover.

Miss a day? Every past puzzle is preserved in the full archive, organised by date. You can work through weeks or months of puzzles at any time, and each one remains exactly as it was when first published.

The categories section organises all puzzles by topic. Browse 20 parent categories - from Animals and Science to Mythology and Technology - each containing several themed subcategories, giving more than 80 distinct puzzles to explore.

Category puzzles are stable: each subcategory always generates the same wordsearch, so you can return to a favourite, share it with a friend, or complete it at your own pace without worrying that the grid will change.

Every puzzle is a 12x12 letter grid containing 10 to 12 hidden words drawn from the theme's word list. Words are placed first, then the remaining squares are filled with random letters to complete the grid - producing a clean, solvable puzzle every time.

Three difficulty settings let you control how challenging the puzzle should be:

• Easy:words run left-to-right and top-to-bottom only.
• Medium:adds diagonal placements in all four diagonal directions.
• Hard:all directions, including words written backwards. Your difficulty preference is saved automatically between visits.
